Phiew, I finished it!

Wow, first sem of SY 04-05 is finally through!!!  What a relief, it is like a splinter that has been removed from my feet, like a constipated stool errred out of your anus.  Anyhu, I only know that I passed my cmsc127, I got 1.75.  My other subjects are still pending,  teachers take an age to compute our grades, anway, I cannot really complain because I do not know their place.. Y?? BECAUSE I'm NOT A TEACHER!

my only grievance this sem is cmsc150... not the subject but the teacher.  Actually, he's a good at explaining things, I understood the lessons he taught, especially the non-ideal wave he said that looked like curlers.. haha! =p  It is his exams that I cannot take!  The topics are easy but his exams took so long to compute that one number took me one and a half hours, and the exam is only good for two hours.  I hope I pass that course, I really did my best, except in the finals which I did not study because I got tired of studying for his exams for nothing...

I'm confident that I will pass my other subjects namely, socsci2, cmsc124 and cmsc 131.  I hope the succeeding sems will be easier. ASA PA!!

sem starter

I had fun this summer, this summer is my busiest one... lots of studying, training, and gimiks. I'm just starting to smell my vacation just to know that it is already over... weh! Anyway, I got 2.0 in my hist2 class and I completed my cmsc130 and got a 2.25, not bad... but I want better!   Summer is over again, UPLB classes opens on June14!!!! Wow, another exciting chapter in my comsci life in LB. I only registered 15 units this sem instead of the normal 18, I want to focus on my track and field without sacrificing my grades because we promised that this sem we will study hard! I will, I will, I will... hopefully

It's been a while

So, how's me?! Hehe, I'm still here! I'm just a little busy; exams, projects, varsity, etc. Anyway, SCUAA's coming!!!!! It's next week, for those who have no idea what squaa is, it stands for... uh... State Colleges U(cant remember) Athletics(I think) Association. Hehe, it is just a really competition among state colleges here in the Philippines! I will miss 2 exams and I my Math incentive will be forfeited.. BAD TRIIIIIPPPPPPP!!!!!!! So the question is, how am i going to survive? Like many Filipinos say "BAHALA NA!"

As of now, I failed 1 exam(comsci 100 lecture)... d@mn... But at least in math I topped my first 2 exams, in stat101, I am included in the 60% who passed=) and I also passed other comsci exams. Sheesh, but next week will be a tough one for me. Not only will I miss 2 exams, but I will also miss lectures and labs!

  HELP!

Ragnarok Craze

Just finished playing Ragnarok Online. Men, this game really eats my time... plain and simple, I am addicted to this online RPG. My character is a magic user and I am currently a level 36 Magician. Someday, I hope to be a WIZARD(lvl40)! Haha, enough!

Since there is nothing to do in the first two weeks, I pretty much enjoy wasting my time playing this game. This is similar to OZ world, except that there is bashing and slashing! One drawback is that I have to buy a separate prepaid card for my Ragnarok account and for my internet dial-up, doubling the expenses. I buy a 100Php Ragnarok Card for unlimited use for seven days and I use PLDT Vibe for a fast internet connection to avoid lag. In the future, I have to switch to another internet service provider because PLDT Vibe will soon end its 888Promo (8c/min from 8pm-8am). My next best choice is infocom.

  See you in Payon! =)

Back to School!!

Just finished playing Ragnarok Online, hopefully it will not be my last. Tomorrow is the first day of our class @ UPLB (Tuesday). Oh men, registration day was a bliss compared to last semester. For the first time in the history of mankind, I did not change any subjects or schedule in my FORM5! (Mini-checklists really do help!).

Anyway, I have to sleep because my first class tomorrow is at eight in the morning. My 17'' monitor is now broken, thankfully, Casey has a spare.. thanks!

new life

Finally after one month, I started training again.  FYI, I am a track and field athlete in UPLB.  My coach, Myra Abueg, is so frustrating because she does not have time for us.  Anyway, the power supply of my computer did not stand up to the challenge of supplying power to my three hardisks and one CDROM/RW/DVDRom.  My UPS will be delivered later at midnight and I can get it tomorrow along with my PC! YEY! =)

I watched the cheering competition of the highschool I attended.  It was really hot... not the cheerleaders but the temperature in the hall.  All in all, it was mediocre, I expected more from them because when I was still in highschool, our batch really performed to the max!  As a matter of fact, not that I am boasting or anything but we won three times in a row (From second year to fourth year).  Hehe, enough of that...

Last halloween, I went to Tarlac to visit our dead relatives... hello grandfather, grandmother, grandgrandfather and grandgrandmother.. Kapampangans are really great cooks!  One of my favorites is the "Sinigang na  Pink Salmon"..SOOoooo Delicious!  Anyway, belated "Maligayang Undas" sa lahat!

New stuff

I just bought a new 40 GB FUJITSU Hardisk and a new 650VA UPS. I have had a difficult time partioning the hardisk. Anyway, I finished that alread... thanks to PowerQuest Partion Magic.

I have a total of 80GB of hardisk space. Can my 300watt powersupply survive the challenge? (I have three hardisk and a CDRW DVD combo drive). I'm still thinking of buying a new video card but I have no clue what to buy... any suggestions? My current videocard is an old geforce 2MX and it's literally crawling when I play the latest 3D games!

Save the Economy…Save the Philippines!

Recently in the Philippines, an impeachment complaint has been filed by more than 80 inconsiderate congressmen against Chief Justice Hilario Davide. This creates a serious conflict between the judicial and legislative branch because the three governing bodies (executive, legislative, and judiciary) are supposed to be autonomous from each other. In effect, the dreaded “constitutional crisis” may possibly happen if this is not put to an end.

Several attempts have been made to pass the impeachment complaint to the senate and fortunately they FAILED! YES!!! Another session will be held on the tenth of November, 2003 and this session will be their last shot. Like a brand new harddisk, the Supreme Court optimized its read-ahead ability and released a “Status Quo”, meaning all goes to a HALT!(sorry for my analogy =) This would prevent the kamara from transmitting the impeachment complaint to the senate.

According to many well-known lawyers, the impeachment complaint is unconstitutional because no two impeachment case must transpire in the same year. (Impeachment complaint of former-president Erap against Chief Justice Hilario Davide and six other magistrates) In addition, they said that the legislative body should recognize the fiscal autonomy of the judiciary. Furthermore, one person in the judiciary, who I cannot remember, said that the congressmen are misled because not a single cent is missing the judiciary fund. ENOUGH of this!

Why, you may ask, am I deeply moved? The price of new electronics will get higher as Peso devaluates and I want to buy a new Maxtor 80GB Hardisk, Mustek DV4000 mini DV, and a Geforce FX 5600. As a citizen, I am affected in my little way! I just want to emphasize that many are wrecked with what’s happening in the country for whatever reason/s each and every one of us may have. I think someone is doing a good job destabilizing the country, starting from multiple bank robberies to paid protests and demonstrations to tearing down the executive, legislative, and judiciary. Is this just a big conspiracy?
